Real confirmations split the total into the purchase price, StockX's processing fee (a percentage of the subtotal), shipping, and sales tax or import duties based on the delivery address - never a single lump sum.
Full product identifiers
The order lists the item's complete name with colorway, the manufacturer style code, the size, and the condition (new or unworn). These identifiers should match the physical item exactly.
The green verification tag
Verified items ship with StockX's green tag attached, with a QR code on the reverse that links to the item's verification. The tag travels with the item, not the receipt - and tags are themselves faked, so neither substitutes for inspecting the product.
What it cannot prove
An order confirmation shows that someone bought that model at some point - it does not prove the pair in front of you is that item. Screenshots are trivial to alter, which is why resale buyers should treat receipts as supporting context, not evidence.
