What Is on a Real Vinted Order Confirmation?
Vinted is a peer-to-peer marketplace, not a retailer - there is no traditional store receipt. What you get instead is an in-app order confirmation built around the item, the seller, and Vinted's Buyer Protection fee.
No traditional receipt - just an order confirmation
Vinted purchases don't generate a store-style receipt. The record is the order confirmation in the app's Purchases tab, alongside an email receipt, showing the item, seller, and full price breakdown.
Buyer Protection fee shown separately from the item price
Every purchase adds a Buyer Protection fee - a percentage of the item price plus a small fixed amount, shown before checkout - covering refund protection if the item never arrives or isn't as described. It appears as its own line, not folded into the item price.
Payment is held until the buyer confirms
Vinted holds the buyer's payment until delivery is confirmed. Funds only reach the seller after a 2-day window post-delivery passes with no issue reported, or the buyer marks the item received - so a completed order confirmation reflects that release, not an instant transfer.
Seller payout is a separate record from the buyer receipt
The seller's payout (item price minus nothing - Vinted charges buyers, not sellers, in most markets) is tracked in the seller's own wallet balance, distinct from the buyer-facing order confirmation.
Multi-currency by country
Vinted operates separate marketplaces across Europe and the UK, so order confirmations display in the local currency - EUR, GBP, PLN, and others - matching the seller's listing country.
Item condition and listing details carry over from the listing
The order confirmation repeats the seller's original listing details - brand, size, condition grade, and photos - since Vinted items are secondhand and condition is central to the sale.
