What Is on a Real Temu Receipt?
Temu is app-first, and its receipts are digital documents tied to your account rather than paper in the parcel. Here is what the genuine records contain.
PO-prefixed order numbers
Temu order IDs start with PO- followed by a long digit string, such as PO-037-0602XXXXXXXXX. That order number appears on the order details page, the confirmation email, and any downloaded invoice - a Temu receipt without it will not match Temu's records.
Digital-only - nothing printed in the box
Temu parcels typically arrive without a printed invoice or packing receipt. The receipt lives in the app under You > Your orders (or Account > Your orders on temu.com), which is why buyers screenshot the order details page as proof of purchase.
A downloadable invoice per order
The order details page offers an invoice or receipt download on eligible orders - a PDF with the seller's information, the PO- order number, itemized costs, and payment details. Third-party tools exist mainly because there is no bulk-download option.
Import charges shown at checkout
After the US $800 de minimis exemption ended in 2025, Temu began showing an import charges line in the order summary before payment on affected orders, covering customs and tariff costs - rather than fees surprising the buyer at delivery.
Seller names on a marketplace order
Temu is a marketplace, and since its 2025 shift most US orders are fulfilled by locally based sellers. The seller behind each item is identified on the order and invoice, which matters when a receipt is used for a dispute or warranty claim.
Promotions and credits as separate lines
Temu orders routinely carry coupon, promo, and Temu credit lines that reduce the item subtotal, so the amount charged to your payment method is often well below the listed prices - and a genuine receipt shows that math explicitly.

Open the Temu app, tap You > Your orders, select the order, and look for the invoice or receipt download on the order details page; the same history is available under your account at temu.com, and the confirmation email carries the PO- order number and totals.
