Ticket de compra vs. factura
In-store purchases print a simplified ticket (ticket de compra), which lists items and the IVA-inclusive total. A full factura simplificada with tax ID fields is a separate document you must request afterward at any Zara store by presenting the ticket.
IVA broken out by category
Spanish receipts show the applicable IVA rate for the goods sold - most clothing and accessories fall under the general 21% rate, though the receipt states the rate and the tax-inclusive total rather than adding tax on top.
e-Ticket tied to your phone number
If you give your phone number at checkout, Zara automatically saves the ticket digitally to your account (e-Ticket) in the Zara app, so it can be retrieved later without the paper copy.
Store code and register details
