What Is on a Real Rossmann Receipt?
As a German drogerie chain, Rossmann's Kassenbon must meet the same fiscal cash register rules as any other German retailer, on top of its own loyalty program details.
TSE signature required by law
Since KassenSichV took effect, every German till receipt (Kassenbon) must carry a TSE (Technische Sicherheitseinrichtung) signature - a cryptographic string proving the transaction was logged tamper-proof at the moment of sale.
QR code linked to the TSE record
Most TSE-compliant receipts, including Rossmann's, print a small QR code that encodes the transaction and TSE signature data, allowing tax auditors to verify the receipt against the till's certified memory.

Rossmann runs the Rossmann-Card as its own dedicated loyalty scheme rather than participating in PAYBACK, Germany's shared coalition points program used by retailers like REWE and dm. Points earned show as a separate line when the card is scanned.
MwSt shown by rate, not one blended line
German receipts must break tax down by MwSt rate - typically 19% standard and 7% reduced (for many food, book, and hygiene items) - since a basket often mixes both rates in one transaction.
Steuer-ID / USt-IdNr on the receipt
German fiscal receipts print the retailer's tax identification alongside the store address, a requirement that lets the receipt double as a simplified invoice for small purchases.
Bon-Nummer for returns
Each Kassenbon carries a sequential receipt number tied to the till's fiscal log, which staff use to look up the transaction for exchanges within Rossmann's return window.

Get Your Original Rossmann Kassenbon First
